About us
There had to be a better way
Sage & Stone Landscapes began in 2020 with a simple belief: there had to be a better way to serve clients.
Based in Carrollton, our maintenance and development divisions serve communities, property management portfolios, office parks, retail centers, industrial sites and churches across North Texas.

Our story
They knew there had to be a better way, so they created one.

For founders Alec and Preston, the need for dependable landscaping had been evident throughout their careers. Alec grew up working alongside his father in land development, learning what it takes to build communities and understanding the role that landscaping, hardscapes, and outdoor spaces play in bringing a development to life. Preston's experience building spec homes and completing high-end remodeling projects showed him that quality landscaping was just as important to the finished product.
Whether they needed routine mowing, property enhancements, complete landscape renovations, or large-scale development work, they continually encountered the same challenge: finding a landscape partner who delivered consistent quality, dependable communication, and service they could trust.
After launching Sage & Stone, Alec and Preston were introduced to Nick through a mutual friend. Nick joined as a co-founder to build and lead the landscape maintenance division, while Alec continued growing the landscape development division. This created the foundation of who Sage & Stone is today: two specialized divisions working together under one standard.
Today, we provide a true single-source solution for commercial properties and developments, from ongoing landscape maintenance and irrigation management to complete landscape development and hardscape construction. Our team is united by one commitment: to deliver quality work, communicate consistently, and build partnerships that last.
