Entry monuments for communities and developments

Sage and Stone Landscapes builds entry monuments for new communities and developments across Dallas–Fort Worth. Our development division builds the monument, the landscape and the irrigation around it, and our maintenance division can keep the entry sharp after handoff.

What goes into an entry monument?

An entry monument is the first thing residents and buyers see, so we build the whole entry, not just the sign wall. That means the structure itself, the beds, plantings and seasonal color around it, and the irrigation that keeps them alive. Our entries in DFW use stacked stone, brick, timber, steel and corten panels.

Who do we build them for?

We build entry monuments for land developers, home builders and community owners. A developer gets one contractor from the monument through the full site landscape, then a maintenance crew that already knows the property.

How does a monument project run?

We walk the site and learn the goals, send a clear scope with materials and line-item pricing, build to spec with one point of contact, then hand off to maintenance. See our other hardscape work, including bridges, fencing and stone pillars.

Entry monuments: common questions

What materials do you build entry monuments from?

Sage and Stone Landscapes has built entry monuments in stacked stone, brick, timber, steel and corten. Many combine two materials, such as stone with a steel frame or brick with timber.

Do you install the landscaping and irrigation around the monument?

Yes. Our development division installs the beds, plantings, seasonal color and irrigation around the monument as part of the same project.

Can you maintain the entry after it's built?

Yes. Our maintenance division can take over the entry and the rest of the community from day one, so there is no handoff between contractors.

Where do you build entry monuments?

Across Dallas–Fort Worth. Our monuments stand in Westlake, Cedar Hill, Crandall, Wilmer and Ennis, and our office is in Carrollton.
